Composite

This is the lapse below cut up and stuck in as the background behind a picture of a mountain I did.

The stupid looking red thing that appears towards the end was going to be a fire lighting but i never finished it and ended up misplacing all the files for the composition!

Yet another timelapse

Well this is my last one, any from here on in will be shot between now and there posting.

This is taken from on top of a passage mound at Carrowkeel Co.Sligo. I dont know which mound it is, there's a huge complex of megalithic passage mounds spread across this area of Sligo and i can't remember which one this is but if i find out ill post it up here.

This may not seem that impressive, partly because of the quality but also because it doesn't look like much is happening, but the beauty of this one is the very slow colour change across the sky as the sun sets. Unfortunately i couldn't take any more shots as my camera ran out of memory and just when it was really getting interesting. Balls.

Another Lapse

This one is out my old bedroom window, in Booterstown, shooting Southish towards the Wicklow mountains. When it gets dark you can see the Aerial on top of the mountains on the right.

More Timelapse

This one is looking from our building out to the Dublin mountains.
You can see the Luas flying by every now and again.

More photos

Here's a Heron (this has been edited thanks to Ed's superior spelling skills, to clarify, there is not a fish in the tree) sitting on a few trees.
I shot this through a pair of binoculars. The lense of the Canon A80 fits perfectly into the eyepiece of the pentax binoculars.

the stacks at Dublin port.

here's myself and Réidín posing, the stacks can be seen to the right of us.

Here's one of my mates in Spain. We tried to convince him that this get was ruining his street cred but he wouldn't listen.

PHOTOS

Here's a load of photos that i think are cool looking.

The Day train.

Thought it was good during the day so went back and got the night version.

A deep sea snail creature, which has the biggest eyeball ever

Seahorse

One night having a mess with my camera i realised i could take shots with an exposure of 1/2000th of a second. So i set up a match box in my room and started taking a load of shots. My fingers came out black and i stank of feckin' sulphur for days, but some cool photos resulted.

This one at the bottom is my favourite, it kinda looks like a Pigeon taking off...well whatever you want it to look like.

ill post more up later.

Ranelagh bridge Timelapse

Here's a timelapse i setup out the same window in work.

The slick camera move at the start was completely by fluke. The blue-tack, that was holding the camera, steadily lost its hold and it worked out ok, bit jerky.

The Ranelagh bridge.

The view from our office window is quite entertaining. On a daily basis loud bursts of car horns continually distract us from our hard work.

The junction is pictured below. There is not meant to be a right turn on any of the roads, but alas people want to turn right.

This poor fecker was caught in the middle of the road, blocking a perpendicular flow of traffic. The white van driver was not impressed. Fisty-cuffs came close but words alone seemed to end this confrontation.

The Beginning....

This is it.
